well i updated this morning and was in such a bad mood that i forgot to mention that last night i went and saw the da vinci code...

i thought it was good ~ now i haven't read the book but i think i will now. it was a bit weird in some parts (like that blondeguy and the chain *shiver*) and it was a little confusing as well, like some things seemed like they just plucked right out of nowhere...but in general, although i haven't read the book i understood the plot and most of what happened. i can see why the catholics slammed it, imagine if it was real - quite a cover up. at least it was interesting, and i don't even like religion. it was a little predictable with what would happen at the end, like with how sophie was the holy grail, and it was obvious about the thing at the lourve (the opposite pyramids) that he didn't pick up on. all in all i really liked it and i might go and see it again to understand it better.

well i went and saw charlie and the chocolate factory today, and thought i'd post my opion on it...why not?

well i thought it was good, but nothing beats the first one, which was a classic. i liked it and all but it just wasn't as good as it could have been. the characters weren't strong in it...like they all blended in together, which was totally opposite to the first one where each character stood out. johny depp was an awesome wonka though...but i must say he looked like a chick at times. he was funny and he played a neurotic wonka, which i'm not quite sure if i liked...and oh my god - the oompa loompas, they were so different, i was so disappointed, they weren't orange and green! they were like normal people, just like a quarter of the size. but they were cool...

 

so yea...i know i'm like no professional movie critic but hey...i give it 3 1/2 out of 5 i guess, it was good, but not excellent
